Thank you for your letter of the
8th August, enclosing drafts of a letter for my
Secretary of State to send to the Clerk of the
Privy Council, and of the subsequent Order-in-Council.

I also think it would be better if you wrote to the
Attorney, but you may think it desirable to let him
know that I have seen the drafts and an in agreement
with them.
As regards the Crder-in-Council, this
really ought to be drawn up by the Clerk to the Council,
and I think, when the time comes, I shall have to send
the draft to Neish in a semi-official letter of a
